Transmitter Block Diagram

 

The following block diagram is representative of a high power broadcasting AM transmitter. Smaller transmitters may omit some of these stages. Essential ones are the Master Oscillator, and  Modulated and Audio Amplifier. It is recommended that you print this diagram before reading the next section.
